How do I go about seeing someone in your facility? I am also coming in and would like to visit how do I go about setting up visitation?

Hernando County jail is no different that most county Jails in Florida the Good Ole Boy network is alive and well. I checked with State and Federal guidelines County Jails operate on their own agenda, they make the rules no matter how popostrous they are. someone needs to get a federal investigation going and put this jailers in jail.

How does the inmate account work and canteen. I was told that any money put into an inmate account is 50/50 with half to amt. owed and half for canteen. Every time I put money into account they take all or most of it. The inmate has only been in jail 2 weeks, so something is not right. Every time I talk to my family member in jail he tells me that he can only put an order in on certain days and by the time he puts order in the extra canteen money is gone. When I call jail they tell me they will not give that info. I want to give money , not pay his jail bill.

i was wondering the same exact thing. if it only cost $3 a day for them what if they take way more than alloted.. i hope someone can clear this up for us because it is not right at all!

how does an inmate receive mail

This jail takes all,you put 300.00 on their account and they cannot use it have to sit around in six day old clothes and cut you off to your loved ones even when your on their list.The ACLU have ben contacted this place is no better than siberia or nazi germany!!!!!

my daughter called today from hernando county jail and said no one has shampoo for 2 weeks now and no change of clothes for 1 week. what is going on cause no one know when she asks
